Persona 5 released last week in Japan. It's a game we're excited to play, which prompts the question: Have you ever imported a game?
Our own Kimberly Wallace happened to be in Japan for Tokyo Game Show to grab a Japanese copy of Persona 5 when it released, which certainly counts.
I've never imported a game knowing it would be localized in North America at some point, but I did go out of my way to get Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and the Hotel Dusk sequel, Last Window: The Secret of Cape West. Both of those games released in Europe, meaning they are available to play in English, but the likelihood of their coming to North America seemed very low.
