Dead Rising 1 And 2 Now Available On PS4, Xbox One

Believe it or not, the Dead Rising series is 10 years old. Today, Capcom has rereleased the first few games in the series to mark the event, making them playable for the first time on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Take a look at a new video to see how Dead Rising 1, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record look in 1080p and running at 60 FPS.

The latest entry in the series, Dead Rising 4, is set 16 years after the events of the first game. If you missed out on the games when they first came out or you just want to refresh your memory before heading back to Willamette in a few months, the timing couldn't be better. 

You can download Dead Rising on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC today for $19.99. Dead Rising 2 and its what-if scenario, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, are also available individually at that price on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you prefer physical releases, the first one is available at retail for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, with copies of Dead Rising 2 coming to those consoles on September 27. Off the Record is only available digitally.
