Things Get Hot In Ark: Survival Evolved's First Expansion
Ark: Survival Evolved is getting its first expansion pack, Scorched Earth. It adds significant changes to the game's survival elements, challenging players to contend with an arid new world and the creatures that call it home.
As the name implies, Scorched Earth's new world is themed around desert climates, with new biomes that include dunes, mountains, canyons, and more. Players can craft 50 new items, including tents for shelter; wind turbines to generate power; and flamethrowers to keep the local wildlife at bay.
Players can travel between this new world and the game's original island, ferrying back items and tamed animals. Check out the trailer below for more of what to expect.
