P.T. Spiritual Successor Allison Road Back From The Dead
After Konami canceled Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills partnership with Guillermo del Toro, genre lovers put their hope into a small project called Allison Road. In June, horror fans were dealt another blow, with that game also put to rest.
Today brings some good news, though. Creator Christian Kesler told IGN that the project is back on. Keller has founded a new company with his wife called Far From Home.
“After the set back, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far — the whole journey, so to speak,” he told IGN. “I started making a few (in my opinion) necessary changes to the story and the flow, little bits and pieces here and there, and before I knew it, it sort of naturally came back to life.”
The game will feature a number of changes, though Kesler hasn’t detailed what those are yet. With the game only just recently rebooted, a release window hasn’t been pinned down yet.
Kesler hasn’t shared details about what happened with the project’s publishing deal before its cancelation. At the time, he stated that Allison Road had been canceled via mutual decision with publisher Team17.

With Silent Hills gone and Resident Evil 7 not really clicking yet, Allison Road is again a beacon of hope for horror junkies. Hopefully it makes it to the finish line this time.
