For the first time, Dungeons & Dragons fans will be able to experience one of the hallmark events of PAX West from the comfort of movie theaters across the country.
Fans and curious adventurers can check out the annual Acquisitions Incorporated event, which tends to feature surprise guests and zany adventures where anything can happen.
Chris Perkins acts as dungeon master to a rogue's gallery of personalities as the quests and dungeons get wilder every year.
On September 4 at 6 PM PST, the event will be available at select locations across the country. You can find locations and acquire tickets at Fathom Events.
Attendees will also receive an 32-page four-hour adventure module.

Our Take
I've had the good fortune to attend a few of these live, and they're hilarious, energetic, and fun. I'm curious to see if people will actually head to the theaters to watch. Having seen them before, if you're a D&D fan, I think it could be a blast with a popcorn bucket and a large Diet Coke.
