Fallout 4 Mod Support On PlayStation 4 Still In Progress

by Mike Futter on Aug 02, 2016 at 03:41 AM

Fallout 4 mod support is now live on PC and Xbox One, but PlayStation 4 users are still waiting to crack open the game’s potential. Support was originally targeted for a June release, but over a month later, it hasn’t been rolled out.

Bethesda hasn’t forgotten the PlayStation 4 community, though. Vice president of PR and Marketing Pete Hines says that the team is working with Sony to get things finalized.

Hines spent the rest of the day taking it on the chin from angry players. In response to a fan inquiring about the process, he mentioned not wanting to say more lest he risk undermining the efforts of those working to make this happen.

We’ll continue to update as more information is available. For more on Fallout 4 mods, check out our past coverage.

Our Take
It’s unfortunate that this is taking longer than intended. However, Hines is active on Twitter and engages with fans. Bethesda, and Hines in particular, tend to share information as soon as they can. Frustration is understandable, but please keep it civil.
