Perfect World Delays Co-op Top-Down Shooter Livelock Indefinitely

by Mike Futter on Jul 29, 2016 at 07:15 AM

Perfect World is giving its first console game a little more time in the oven. Livelock, a cooperative, top-down shooter has been delayed on all platforms.

The game was scheduled for release next week on August 2 on Xbox One and PC. The PlayStation 4 version was already slated for a later launch.

No new release date has been announced at this time. Perfect World  says the pushback is to “ensure the best possible gameplay experience” across all three platforms.

Our Take
Giving games more time often results in a better product. However, the eleventh hour delay does lead us to wonder what went wrong so close to release.
