Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender Renewed For Second Season

Dreamworks Animation and Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender is returning for a second season late in 2016. The news, which broke during a San Diego Comic Con panel, was revealed by Voltron's writer Tim Hedrick, executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, and co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery.

Few story details were given, but season two is a direct continuation, picking up moments after season one's cliffhanger. Voltron: Legendary Defender is a hit in Game Informer's office, and its pilot received a rave review from Mike Futter when it launched on Netflix earlier this year.
