The Wii U is getting a handful of games from a classic(?) console tomorrow.

The Wii U is host to Nintendo, Super Nintendo, DS, and Game Boy Advance games with its Virtual Console, but this is the first time it will offer TurboGrafx-16 games.

Tomorrow you will be able to download R-Type ($7.99), Bonk's Adventure ($5.99), and New Adventure Island ($5.99) for the Wii U. We recently dove into the depths of the often forotten 16-bit console's library on Replay. You can check out that episode below.

Our Take
The TurboGrafx-16 was such an odd console. I'm happy to see some of its games making its way to WIii U. Hopefully some of its stranger games, like the ones we played on Replay will see release, as well.
