New Laser-Powered Weapons And Perks Available Now For XCOM 2
The alien invasion in XCOM 2 never ends, and players will need to stock up on weapons and able-bodied soldiers to combat this threat. Luckily, the latest mods from Long War Studios provide new ways to defend the earth.
An entirely new tier of laser weapons has been added with the laser pack, including assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles. These weapons are fully equipped with new textures, sounds, and models. In the perk pack, players can choose from over 70 new custom options for their soldiers of various classes.
The laser pack and perk pack can now be downloaded from the studio's official Steam Workshop page here. Long War previously announced a partnership to work on a series of mods for the game following its launch in February.
XCOM 2 is available now for PC and coming to consoles in September. Check out our review of the PC version from earlier this year.
