Resident Evil 4 Is Coming To Xbox One And PlayStation 4 Next Month

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 07, 2016 at 06:10 AM

One of the best (maybe even the best, depending on who you ask) entries in the Resident Evil franchise is coming to current-gen consoles.

The 2005 GameCube game, which marked a dramatic and successful change in direction for the Resident Evil series, has released on nearly every platform in the years following its initial launch. Soon that ever-expanding platform list will include Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This version will include all the bonus content that was added for later releases including the Ada Wong missions and expanded Mercenaries mode.

Resident Evil 4 will be available on current-generation consoles on August 30. For more on Resident Evil 4, check out our collection of features and videos on the game from when it celebrated its 10 year anniversary by heading here.

Our Take
Resident Evil 4 is my personal favorite entry in the series. I did replay it when it released on Xbox 360 a few years ago, but it's one I definitely don't mind revisiting again and again.
