2K Leak Confirms Rumored Bioshock: The Collection

by Jeff Marchiafava on Jun 29, 2016 at 10:57 AM

The long-rumored BioShock trilogy remaster is one step closer to becoming true, as the latest leak comes straight from 2K.

A few super-sleuths at NeoGAF have uncovered more evidence of a current-gen bundle of all three BioShock games, including a screen-grab of a webpage for the game on 2K's official site, and the below box art, which is located on 2K's servers. While the webpage has been taken down from 2K's website, the box art can still be found on the company's server, and all-but confirms the trilogy's name – BioShock: The Collection.

Although BioShock: The Collection still hasn't officially been announced, two separate ratings descriptions leaks have suggested that the bundle will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and contain all three BioShock titles. There's still no word on whether players can expect games' various DLC offerings and/or updated visuals in the bundle, but at this point official confirmation seems like a matter of "when" and not "if."

Our Take
Even before all the leaks, a current-gen BioShock bundle seemed like a safe bet – after all, who wouldn't want to take a return trip to Rapture and Columbia? Hopefully 2K doesn't take too long to confirm the news – or release bundle for that matter!
