Atlus Publishing RPG Caligula In The West

by Kimberley Wallace on Jun 17, 2016 at 06:16 AM

Atlus didn't want to leave E3 without making one last announcement. It's bringing Japanese RPG Caligula from FuRyu to North America and Europe.

Caligula is written by Tadashi Satomi, known for his scenario writing on the early Persona games. The game follows high school students who are trapped in a virtual reality world that's supposed to be the perfect high school experience. Does that even exist? Probably not as some classmates figure out that repeating three years over and over again isn't all it's cracked up to be, even when it's in the most ideal atmosphere. Now they'll have to figure out how to escape and what's really going on.

Atlus will release Caligula as a digital download for PlayStation Vita in both North America and Europe next spring, which is pretty good timing considering you'll need your RPG fix as you finish Persona 5.

Atlus says it will have more details about the game in the coming months, but for now confirms it's keeping the original Japanese audio for the release.
