Bethesda Announces Fallout 4 And Doom Hell Tour For VR
Bethesda is getting into VR with two different experiences. One is simply a tech demo. The other is going to fulfill many a wasteland dream.
While Doom might be a bit too fast for virtual reality, Bethesda is using the game to show off id Software's latest engine with a tour of Hell.
The bigger announcement is that Fallout 4 is getting a complete overhaul. It will be coming to Vive in 2017. Assuming that room scale isn't required, Rift owners should be able to take advantage of the software. With Bethesda still embroiled in a lawsuit against Oculus, it's no surprise the company didn't specifically mention Rift on stage.
