Volition’s Agents Of Mayhem Officially Announced
Deep Silver and Volition have moved on from Saints Row (sort of). This morning, the duo formally announced the rumored Agents of Mayhem.
While the Saints Row name is absent, the cinematic trailer revealed by IGN is drenched in Saints purple. The Saints’ fleur-de-lis can be clearly seen at the end, as can the familiar Ultor corporation name.
The trailer (above) and screenshots (below) gives us a look at a futuristic Seoul, Korea and three characters. Agents of Mayhem will be out in 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Our Take
Saints Row has gone to space, seen the Earth destroyed, and even found itself in Hell. A reboot, as this seems to be, makes sense.
