Mafia III $150 Collector’s Edition Includes Two Vinyl Albums

by Mike Futter on Jun 01, 2016 at 10:31 AM

2K Games has unveiled the collector’s edition for the upcoming Mafia III. With the 1960s setting making it a good fit, the publisher is going all-in on the current vinyl resurgence.

The $150 edition includes two 180-gram vinyl albums. One includes tracks from the 1960s popular artists, including The Animals and Otis Redding. The other is the Blues-style original game score composed by Jesse Harlin and Jim Bonney.

The package also includes collectible art prints, which also serve as an in-game collectible. There’s also an art book, dog tags, faux leather drink coasters, and the season pass.

Mafia III will be out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 7. Today also marks the re-release of Mafia II on Steam. It’s available for an 80 percent discount through June 8.

The base game will cost you $5.99 during the sale. The complete edition with all DLC is priced at $7.99.
