Developer commentary tracks in games are a great way to get an inside look side-by-side with gameplay. Bungie is taking that concept in a different direction today with a livestream featuring studio team members taking on the King’s Fall raid.
With them will be writer Jill Scharr, who will discuss the lore that is woven into the raid. She’ll be joined by designer Brendan Thorne to discuss how it was built.
The fireteam will consist of testers that put King’s Fall through its paces before you got your hands on it. You can tune in today, May 18, at 2 p.m. Eastern / 11 a.m. Pacific on Bungie’s Twitch channel.
Our Take
Destiny lore is always a hot topic, because it’s so obfuscated. While diehard fans have likely picked the bones clean at this point, more casual enthusiasts might still come away with some new knowledge.
