Super Meat Boy And Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Now Available On Wii U

by Kyle Hilliard on May 13, 2016 at 05:02 AM

The Wind Waker DS sequel and Team Meat's challenging platform are available on Wii U this week.

Originally released on 2007, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel to Wind Waker, picking up shortly after the events of the GameCube game. When the game released we gave it a 9.5 writing, "This adventure is worthy of Zelda canon, and has enough great stuff going for it to be considered one of the year’s best adventures."

Super Meat Boy, curiously, was originally developed as a Wii game, before it changed hands and direction to releases on the Xbox 360 in 2010. This is a port of that version of the game, but like its PlayStation 4 and Vita ports, does not feature the game's original soundtrack composed by Danny Baranowsky. We gave the Xbox 360 version of Super Meat Boy a 9. You can find our review here.
