Forza Motorsport 6: Apex isn't just a port of Forza 6 for Windows 10 players. No, the game is a curated experience of the Xbox One title, and players will get to see what it has to offer before they buy it thanks to an open beta.

The game's beta starts on May 5, and although neither it nor the full Apex game has the series' famed livery editor, an update to the beta will include a selection of curated livery designs.

Apex will evolve as time goes on to include wheel support and other PC-centric features. The game requires Windows 10, and does not feature online multiplayer racing.

Our Take
The game is free and will be updated as time goes on, so this is more of a soft launch than a beta per se. Regardless, this is a chance to let your thoughts be known about the title and where it should go.
