Crystal Dynamics Shares A Promotional Tomb Raider III Video From 1998, And More

by Elise Favis on Apr 23, 2016 at 06:21 AM

At PAX East, Crystal Dynamics is celebrating 20 years of Tomb Raider. Because of this, they've shared a noir-esque promotional video from Tomb Raider III's launch, as well as announced an upcoming music album, and a Tomb Raider book that includes artwork and interviews.

The video was previously only shown at a 1998 launch party for Tomb Raider III at the National History Museum in London. Titled Tomb Raider: The Trilogy, the short video has two detectives interrogating a man who is infatuated with Lara Croft. You can view the video below.

Outside of this announcement, Crystal Dynamics is also releasing a music album featuring tracks from the first three games, which is being produced by original franchise composer Nathan McGree. Along with this, a book called 20 Years of Tomb Raider was announced, which will be filled with the series' history, artwork, and exclusive developer interviews.
