See How Ride Along 2 Put Kevin Hart's Gamer Skills To Good Use In Mini-Doc
One of Ride Along 2's action sequences is focused on something most of us have thought at one time or another: Do the driving skills we've cultivated during games like Grand Theft Auto translate to the real world? Kevin Hart's character, Ben Barber, gets to find out. We've got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the sequence was conceived and filmed, with a walkthrough from director Tim Story.
The clip does seem to prove that playing games makes you an excellent driver, to the detriment of the bad guys. Additionally, cars flip and explode with ease. Then again, we're also led to believe that Ice Cube would put up with this kind of nonsense for more than one second. The takeaway? Ride Along 2 is not a documentary.
Ride Along 2 is available on Blu-ray and DVD on April 26.
