Guile Returns To The Fight In Street Fighter V This Month [Trailer Added]

by Mike Futter on Apr 19, 2016 at 07:47 AM

If Street Fighter V has been getting stale for you, perhaps the return of one of the original world warriors will lure you back. Capcom has announced that Guile will be released for free this month.

The company says that the delay of the Zenny Shop (that allows players to purchase skins, titles, and additional characters for cash or earned currency) has led it to release the real American hero for free for a limited time.

His move set has been tweaked a bit, giving him the ability to store his charge. Guile can crouch-walk in “Faultless Move” mode that lets him keep his charge.

The first DLC stage brings us back to the Air Force Base. Season pass holders get it free as a “thank you,” but it’ll be available for 70,000 FM (fight money) when the shop launches.

Capcom is still refining how it will handle rage quitters. The algorithm will identify those players that disconnect frequently. Those that are targeted will be locked out of matchmaking for a limited time. Other matchmaking improvements are on the way in the April update, also.
