[Update] Star Ocean: Integrity And Faithlessness Details Special Editions & Release Date
Update: Square Enix has already announced a June 28 release date for Star Ocean: Integrity And Faithlessness – as well as a day one edition – and now the company is outlining what you can get if you buy the mighty Collector's Edition.
The Collector's Edition ($109.99) can now be pre-ordered exclusively through the Square Enix Online store, while the Day One Edition is at all participating retailers.
Here's the CE's contents, with text straight from Square Enix:
- Collector's Edition steelbook case containing the game and The Sounds of Star Ocean: a CD sampler soundtrack featuring 16 tracks from famed composer Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of series, Valkyrie Profile series, Dark Souls series)
- The Art of Star Ocean: 80-page hardcover art book featuring art from the Star Ocean series
- Eight exclusive art cards featuring illustrations from character designer "akiman" (Street Fighter series)
- Pangalactic Federation ID card
- Six background battle music themes from Valkyrie Profile, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria and previous Star Ocean titles that fans can play during battle
- Download code for in-game items that will aid Fidel and the crew on their journey: The Ring of the Valkyries, Gold Bunny Statue, Bushybrume Cincture, Wristlet of the Stars, and Secret Sthalian Tome

Square Enix and developer Tri-Ace have started taking pre-orders for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, and this day-one edition comes with some special benefits.
Square's online store has the pre-order campaign, and the in-game DLC (click on the above image below to enlarge for detail) features items that reduce the amount of MP used, cut down on damage, and increase attack and other attributes.
The pre-order listing and day-one edition only list the PS4 edition at this time.
