Update: Final Fantasy XV Out September 30, Platinum Demo Now Live
Update: The release date was confirmed at the Final Fantasy Uncovered event as September 30, 2016. The Platinum demo is also now live.
Tonight's big Final Fantasy event is centered around new information and the long awaited release date for the fifteenth main numbered installment. It appears that you won't need to wait that long to find out just when Noctis' adventure begins.
GameSpot appears to have been pre-briefed and let the news slip early. According to a video (since set to private), Final Fantasy XV is releasing on September 30.
Further, fans will have a new demo to look forward to, according to the video. We expect there will be more from tonight's event, but this big piece of news is out, and you can circle your calendars.
