Valkyrie Profile Producer Has Already Written A Proposal For A Third Entry

It's been a decade since we last saw a new Valkyrie Profile game, but the series isn't forgotten. The franchise's two titles have a loyal following who haven't given up hope for a third entry.

Speaking on a Dengeki Online video, Star Ocean 5 and Valkyrie Profile producer Shuichi Kobayashi said he's still sitting on a proposal for the next game. However, he is blunt about the financial reality of the business. If games don't sell, sequels won't be made.

“Honestly speaking, I have written proposal plans for it on my computer," Kobayashi says. "Hurry and let me show it!”
