Halo’s take on horde mode is set to return this summer. Warzone, Halo 5’s open battlefield mode, will get a new cooperative Firefight mode this summer.

This weekend at the Halo World Championship 2016 finals, Microsoft and 343 Industries offered the first look at the new mode. Because it’s tied to Warzone, players will be able to use consumable REQ cards to bring in powerful weapons and vehicles to take on five waves of enemies and bosses.

Warzone Firefight brings back some of the elite enemies from competitive Warzone, but ups the challenge with bigger and tougher baddies. Thankfully, you can form teams of up to eight players to take on the Covenant and Prometheans.
