First Mission Pack In Standalone StarCraft II Spinoff Coming In Two Weeks
Blizzard has announced that the first mission pack in its StarCraft II standalone offshoot Nova Covert Ops is coming in two weeks. The first of three packs includes a trio of story missions starring November "Nova" Terra, and players don't have to own previous StarCraft games to play.
Nova Covert Ops tells Nova's story as the stealthy Ghost infiltrates bases, prevents invasions, and uses experimental tech. Blizzard says it features StarCraft II gameplay with a few brand-new mechanics. The first mission pack is coming March 29, and subsequent packs will release later this year. Players who preorder the bundle will save a few bucks and also unlock a covert ops skin for their Ghost units in StarCraft II.
