Shadow Of Mordor Executive Producer Mike Forgey Passed Away Last Week
In December, we shared with you the story of Mike Forgey, an executive producer on Shadow of Mordor. Forgey, who also worked on Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Fable, Conker, and Perfect Dark Zero, passed away on March 3 after a fight with an aggressive form of cancer called glioblastoma.
Forgey’s family at Shadow of Mordor developer Monolith rallied around him in December to assist in raising funds for his care and for his children. He leaves behind a wife and three children, and the family is still accepting support on the YouCaring campaign page.

Mike passed away yesterday, March 3 at 3:15 am. His last few days were peaceful with his family by his side. Mike was so touched by everyone's support during his fight. His family wants to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time.
