Hyrule Warriors is making the 3DS transition soon, and with that will come an expanded roster, which got larger during today's Nintendo Direct.
Medli from the Wind Waker has been confirmed as a new playable character, and she will be free on both Wii U and 3DS. She will be available when Legends' first DLC pack releases.
Nintendo has four DLC packs planned for the game, and a season pass will be available. Those who purchase the season pass will get an exclusive costume for Ganondorf. The game will also include a theme with purchase as well as a code that will unlock new characters in the Wii U version of the game, including Linkle, Tetra, and more. Finally, those who purchase the game from GameStop will get a free 16-page character art book (Disclosure: GameStop is Game Informer’s parent company).
