Plants Vs. Zombies Now Available For EA Access Members Via Backward Compatibility

by Mike Futter on Mar 01, 2016 at 04:06 AM

EA has added its first Xbox 360 to its Xbox One EA Access program. The original Plants vs. Zombies is now available in the “Vault.”

The publisher has also promised that as more of its library becomes compatible with the backward compatibility feature, we’ll see more of those games included. With Skate 3 already headed for Xbox One support, this is great news.

EA Access Vault games are available to subscribers as long as their membership is current. The service also offers a discount on digital purchases and early play time for the publisher’s releases.

Our Take
EA’s vast Xbox 360 library opens up an easy route to beef up the value of its Access program even further. With Mass Effect already in the backward compatibility library, perhaps members can look forward to that in Vault soon.
