by Luke Walaszek on Feb 24, 2016 at 07:13 AM

With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD just over a week away, Nintendo has launched the first episode of a retrospective series about the original game’s development. In the video, the development team sits down to discuss Twilight Princess’s art style, character designs, combat, and more.

The retrospective provides insight into the overall design of Twilight Princess and how the game was an attempt to bring a sense of reality to the series after Wind Waker. Series director Eiji Aonuma emphasizes how important a feeling of scale and realism was to the creation of Twilight Princess.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is coming to Wii U on March 4. You can watch Kyle and Ben play two hours of the remake here.
