Todd Howard Teases Three New Projects, Undiscovered Fallout 4 Secrets, DLC Plans

by Andrew Reiner on Feb 18, 2016 at 08:13 AM

During a talk at this year's D.I.C.E. 2016 summit in Las Vegas, Bethesda Game Studios' Todd Howard and comedian Pete Holmes talked casually about Fallout 4, tackling such topics as the development process leading up to launch and weighing consumer feedback post launch. Holmes also asked Howard if there are any secrets that no one has found in the game yet.

Howard paused before answering, and said there are a couple of things he's surprised Fallout 4 players haven't talked about yet. Howard wouldn't go into specifics with the hope players stumble upon them on their own, but did say one of the secrets is on a terminal.

Howard also said his team is busier than it's ever been working on Fallout 4's DLC. He thinks the overhauled Survival mode dramatically changes the game, and even mused that his character is currently suffering from insomnia. Howard says they will beta test some of the content with the public to gauge feedback.

He also teased that Bethesda Game Studios is working on three longer-form projects that are a bit different, but still fit into the studio's portfolio of "big and crazy" titles.
