News

Originally planned for release Spring 2016, the Mac and Linux ports of Batman: Arkham Knight have been canceled.

The cancellation was announced with a short, but straightforward statement on Steam which you can see below:

We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux. If you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam.

Developer Feral Interactive specializes in porting games to Mac and Linux and ported Batman: Arkham Asylum and City to Mac and Linux and were working on porting Knight. After Arkham Knight's troubled PC launch, Feral announced it was delaying its port of the game to 2016 back in October.

Our Take
Well, this is disappointing. Arkham Knight is a fantastic game (I selected it as my personal favorite of 2015), and to see it's available audience shrink further after many PC players didn't get to play (or at least didn't get to play it while everyone was talking about it) is bad news.
