Explore The Countryside In This New Dying Light: The Following Trailer

by Luke Walaszek on Jan 28, 2016 at 09:28 AM

Developer Techland released a new trailer for the upcoming DLC, Dying Light: The Following today, packed with new secrets, locales, and environments for Kyle Crane to explore.

The trailer features locales such as the Granary, a tower billed as a parkour paradise, the Old Graveyard, an ominous burial ground where the dead don’t rest, and the Racetrack, a dirt-road dune buggy track. Overall, Techland says the new region is twice the size of the game’s original map.

Despite all the additional content, PC players won’t have to upgrade their rigs to run the DLC. The system requirements for Dying Light: The Following will be the same as they were for the core game.

Console fans have something to look forward to, as well: Techland has confirmed The Following will bring Community Maps to PS4 and Xbox One.

The Following DLC is set for release on February 9, and the Enhanced Edition, which features both the main game and the DLC, will launch the same day. If you’re still on the fence about Dying Light you can read our review here, or watch us play through some of the DLC's early missions here
