Insomniac Teases Next Game, Reveal On January 28
Insomniac has a new game in the works, and the studio is offering some hints. A new teaser promises a full reveal coming later this week.
We don’t know a name or platforms, but it appears this game will be taking us underwater. We’ll find out for sure at 8:30 a.m. Central (6:30 a.m. Pacific / 9:30 a.m. Eastern).
There doesn’t seem to be any Sony or Microsoft branding, so this isn’t likely to be a first-party platform exclusive. We’ll update as we know more.
Our Take
Insomniac has been doing a lot of experimenting lately. Fuse, Sunset Overdrive, and the upcoming VR game Edge of Nowhere all have very different feels. This underwater tease seems to be yet another expression of the studio’s creativity.
