Sega has been busy the last year or so updating classic titles to support the three-dimensional capabilities of Nintendo's 3DS, then releasing them digitally. A plethora of these 3D Classics are now being gathered together for physical release in the Sega 3D Classics Collection, Sega announced today. Check out the release date and full list here, from everybody's favorite blue hedgehog to a classic Japanese puzzle game.
The full list for the physical collection is below. Noticeable 3D Classics absent from the list include hits like Streets of Rage II, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Gunstar Heroes. On the flip side, there are some previously unreleased titles on this cartridge, including Power Drift, Puyo Puyo 2, Maze Walker, and Fantasy Zone II.

Our Take
I grew up playing the Sega Master System and Sega Genesis, so seeing the classics of my childhood paid tribute makes me feel fuzzy inside. I'm personally disappointed that awesome games like Sonic 2 and Gunstar Heroes aren't included, but perhaps we'll see a Sega 3D Classics Collection: Volume 2?
