Halo 5 Infinity’s Armory DLC Detailed

by Matt Miller on Jan 20, 2016 at 06:23 AM

Halo 5: Guardians has already received a healthy injection of new content since its launch last year, and the flow of new content continues in the new year with the impending release of Infinity’s Armory, a DLC pack planned for launch next week.

The new pack’s most important addition are two new multiplayer maps. Riptide steps into the Arena multiplayer mode, a battlefield made up of terraforming equipment on a distant planet. The new DLC also adds a new Warzone Assault map entitled Urban, a large open zone that should delight snipers with its many unobstructed sightlines.

Veteran players will be excited to see that the Halo 2 Battle Rifle is also being reintroduced with this update, along with new REQs for the Carbine, and some wildly colorful new skins for some of the other weapons. Players who have been playing a lot of the game may have a shot at snagging the new Achilles armor set, which unlocks once you’ve hit level 5 in all your kill commendations.
