Bravely Second Arrives In April, Collector’s Edition And Demo Announced
The sequel to 2014’s hit 3DS JRPG, Bravely Default, has a release date in the west. Nintendo has announced that Bravely Second: End Layer will be out in April, with a demo preceding that offers a unique story.
The demo plan is identical to how Bravely Default was introduced to 3DS gamers. You’ll be able to carry over some of your StreetPass tags and bonuses to the full game.
For those that want to dive a little deeper than the $40 standard version, a $70 collector’s edition will be available. Include are a soundtrack and 250-page art book.
Bravely Second will be out on April 15. If you happened to miss the first entry, check out our review of Bravely Default.
The collector's edition seems pretty by-the-numbers, but it's the demo approach with these games that I love. Giving us something to play that isn't a slice of the main game feels more meaningful. It also is a great fan service for those who know they are getting the full version and wouldn't otherwise want to spoil part of the experience (or have to replay it).
