Atlas and Vanillaware’s remake of PlayStation 2 RPG Odin Sphere now has a release date. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be out in early June.

Those that purchase from participating retailers early will get a 64-page art book with the standard version on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita ($60, $50, and $40 respectively). Those looking for a bit more might be interested in the $80 Storybook Edition that we covered previously.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be out on June 7 for all three platforms. You can see the announcement trailer to get a glimpse of the upgrades.

Our Take
Atlus could have easily taken the PS2-on-PS4 route, but this approach brings both enhanced graphics and improvements. I missed this on PS2, so I’m eager to give it a try on PS4 or Vita. I’ve heard very good things, and having a second change at Odin Sphere is great news.
