Microsoft Rolls Out Two More Xbox One Bundles

by Mike Futter on Jan 05, 2016 at 03:38 AM

The holiday season was chock full of Xbox One bundles. And though the season is over, Microsoft has a few more left to roll out.

Arriving at retail today is a 1TB Xbox One that includes Rainbow Six Siege. This includes the latest game in the franchise, as well as both Rainbow Six Vegas titles that are playable on Xbox One via backward compatibility. It will start arriving at retail today for $399.

Later this month, you’ll be able to pick up a more flexible bundle. A 500 GB “name your game” bundle will arrive at retail toward the end of the month.

This console includes your choice of Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, or Rare Replay. Retail price is listed at $349.

Our Take
While Rainbow Six Siege didn’t exactly thrill us, if you have a group to play with this bundle is a solid deal. Both Vegas games are great and absolutely worth going back to.

The “name your game” bundle is also solid, but it’s hard to recommend at 500 GB Xbox One. Expect that you’ll be upgrading that storage with an external drive soon.
