Games Done Quick And Speedrunners To Raise Money For Cancer Prevention Research
Today Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) will kick off their 2016 event, bringing together over a hundred speedrunners to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
In 2015, AGDQ raised over $1,500,000. In 2016, certain events will have modifiers attached to them, like playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out while blindfolded.
You can find the schedule for the event here and you can watch the event on the group's Twitch channel. Games that will be played include Super Star Wars, The Lion King, Ori And The Blind Forest, Metroid Prime, and others.
