Activision is opening the gates to Black Ops III multiplayer this weekend. All you need is a Steam account to give the latest Call of Duty a try.

Now through Sunday, December 20, at 1 p.m. Pacific / 4 p.m. Eastern, you can try the competitive modes. If you want to play the campaign or Zombies, you’ll have to buy in.

During the trial period, you can get the standard version for $44.99 (regular $59.99). The digital deluxe edition, which includes the season pass, is discounted to $79.99 (regular $99.99).
