VR Stationary Bike VirZoom Pre-Order Information Detailed

by Brian Shea on Dec 16, 2015 at 02:00 AM

Pre-order information for VirZoom, a stationary bike that utilizes the power of virtual reality to incentivize you to work out, has been detailed. In addition to announcing the retail price of the bike, the company has also detailed an early access special, which will be applied to the first adopters.

The VirZoom unit, which comes with five games, retails for $249.95. If you're among the first 300 people to pre-order, you're able to knock $50 off of that price. The unit also includes a free month of VirZoom Plus, a subscription that gives players the most up-to-date content including online multiplayer, data tracking for fitness purposes, new content for the games the unit ships with, and access to new games on a regular basis. If you decide to keep VirZoom Plus, it costs $9.99 per month.

Games in VirZoom are all powered by the user's pedaling, often giving players a reason to pedal harder. Those who are excited about the ability to get a workout in while exploring virtual worlds won't have to wait too much longer, as the product is set to launch during the first half of 2016. VirZoom is set to arrive on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. To pre-order, you can head to VirZoom's website.

Our Take
