Star Trek Beyond Trailer Takes A More Lighthearted Approach
The new trailer for Star Trek Beyond, the third entry of the revitalized film series, hit today. The trailer takes a much more lighthearted approach to showcasing the action, distancing itself from the tone of the Star Wars trailers and toeing the line set by Guardians of the Galaxy.
The trailer, which is set to "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys, looks like a flat out good time. While the past Star Trek films in J.J. Abrams' reboot series have been fun, it's looking like having Fast and Furious director Justin Lin at the helm of the first non-Abrams-directed Star Trek film could make it an even more enjoyable tone.
