Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 Now Live
Star Citizen's alpha 2.0 is now available for dabbling by its players.
Alpha 2.0 puts gives Star Citizen's players its first taste of first-person gunplay, adds new ships, new flight modes, and takes place in a new area, Crusader. For more details on the alpha 2.0 update, head here.
Alongside the launch 2.0, Star Citizen also announces it has surpassed the $100 million funding mark, and is the top crowd funded project and top crowd funded game according to Guinness World Records.

Our Take
Isn't an alpha 2.0 a beta? Glad to see this game performing well because it looks awesome, but Roberts Space Industries seems reticent to move the game forward out of the, "We're still building it, it's not ready!" phase.
