Dungeon Defenders Community Takes On Updates And Improvements With Trendy’s Blessing

by Mike Futter on Dec 11, 2015 at 07:52 AM

Trendy Entertainment’s focus is on action-heavy tower defense game Dungeon Defenders 2, which is available now as a paid early access game on PlayStation 4 and free on Steam Early Access. The original title still has a loyal following though, so the studio is enlisting the help of the community to keep the ball rolling.

Today marks the release of the first Community Development Team (CDT) patch. In addition to a number of housekeeping items, the update adds the Buccaneer Bay map, revamps the Jester class, and introduces new items. You can see it in action in a new trailer.

The update is more than just these major inclusions. It also offers a number of bug fixes, additions, and improvements to the core game.

You can read the full patch notes on the Dungeon Defenders website.
