Last month, Nintendo revealed that Final Fantasy VII hero Cloud Strife was heading over to Super Smash Bros. During the announcement, we learned that the character can use familiar Final Fantasy summons, including Odin and Bahamut. Next week, the company says it will be showing off even more details about the character in what it's calling the final video presentation for the fighting game.
The presentation will be on the Nintendo Direct channel Tuesday, December 15, at 2 p.m. Pacific. Game director Masahiro Sakurai will be hosting the event.
Our Take
The Smash Bros. videos have always been a lot of fun, and I'm sad to see that this is the last one. The company has done a great job of supporting the game since its launch last year. However, it was inevitable that it would eventually end. Here's hoping this won't be the last time we see Sakurai and his amazing shirts.
