Original Story:

If you were hoping to get some multiplayer Bloodborne going with your fellow Old Hunters, you may have to wait a few days. Citing a possible exploit (speculation points to the possibility of free DLC access) as the root cause, servers will be down for potentially days for emergency maintenance.

Thankfully, the Old Hunters are there to help if you're a solo player looking to beat some beasts and push back the nightmare tides of Yharnam. If you haven't pulled the trigger on the old Hunters yet, you can check out our review, guide, and instructions on how to access the chunk of DLC content that rolled out last month.

Our Take
It's unfortunate that players won't be ringing bells and teaming up to tackle content for a few days, but thankfully the latest patch provides some solace for solo hunters. If you're having trouble with bosses, at least there's a wide selection of NPC buddies to help you through whatever encounter is giving you a tough time.
