by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 29, 2015 at 05:42 AM

The Game Awards, the now-annual awards show produced by Geoff Keighley, is promising gameplay from Primal and new footage from Quantum Break among other premieres and details.

Far Cry Primal was announced early October with a trailer, but The Game Awards will be the first time seeing true gameplay. Keighley also promises in the video above, new gameplay and live action footage from Quantum Break. We've been covering Quantum Break all this month as the game is featured on our cover. You can find all of our exclusive features by clicking the banner below.

Keighley also revealed yesterday that this year's Industry Icon Award will be going to Westwood Studios founders Brett Sperry and Louis Castle. You can find more about the award in the video below, and of course during The Game Awards Show.

We recently spoke with Keighley on an episode of the Game Informer Show podcast about his impressive history with the industry and what goes into planning something like The Game Awards. You can find that interview here.

The Game Awards premieres on Thursday, December 3 at 9 p.m. ET. You can learn more about where and how to watch on The Game Awards website.

Our Take
The Game Awards have been getting progressively better each year after some undeniable early missteps in the show's broadcasts. I'm excited to tune in this year, and excited to see some Far Cry Primal in action. I also have my fingers crossed for more Zelda Wii U gameplay.
