The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Hits Wii U In Early 2016

After several rumors during recent months, Nintendo has officially announced the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Wii U. The game will feature enhanced visuals, as well as Amiibo functionality with a brand new Wolf Link Amiibo.

The other Zelda Amiibos from the Super Smash Bros. line of figures will also work with Twilight Princess HD. Some data from the Amiibos in Twilight Princess HD will carry forward to the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U, but Nintendo did not specify what that data is. In addition, Twilight Princess HD will feature a special offer to allow players to get a copy of the Twilight Princess soundtrack to those who pre-order.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD hits Wii U on March 4 and is being supported by Tantalus Media. Earlier this year, we asked our readers which Zelda game they wanted for the next HD re-release, with Twilight Princess emerging as the clear winner.
